TECHNIQUES TO SECURE AND MONITOR CLIENT DATABASE APPLICATIONS

In this thesis, we aim at securing database applications in different ways. We have designed, implemented and experimentally evaluated two systems, AD-PROM and DCAFixer. AD-PROM has the goal to monitor database application while running to detect changes in applications’ behaviors at run time. DCAFixer, focus on securing database applications at the early development stages, i.e., coding and testing.
