The Roles of Language, Interactive Features, Context, and Stories in Students' Conceptions of Integers
The three-pronged approach in this dissertation focused on describing students’
experiences when making sense of negative numbers and revealing ways of supporting
and making use of these experiences to help them learn about the concept of
integers.
