Computational investigation into rotor shroud surface roughness effects on the performance of a multi-stage axial compressor. A wide range of surface roughness values were used in order to predict changes in efficiency, flow distribution, loading, degree of reaction, total pressure and total temperature radial profiles, TPR, and TTR.
