The research is geared towards understanding the axial behavior of thermally damaged concrete and whether it can be enhanced or restored by the use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) wraps. The CFRP effectiveness as well as its stress-strain response is analyzed for multiple layers of CFRP.
