This paper explores a potential new design system named EduEase that is meant to assist general education elementary school teachers as they create inclusive and accessible lesson plans for their students, specifically those with specialized learning needs either due to disability or other impairments. The design suggestions propose a combination of digital software and physical products that will utilize AI in order to generate appropriate lesson plans, create new content to be used in the classroom, and make interactive and fun activities for students. The product was developed after lengthy research of interviewing and surveying both teachers and students, and then user testing with both design experts and elementary teachers to assure validity and satisfaction with the product. This paper will detail the methodology in developing the product and the final designs for EduEase.
