Mengzhou (Cloris) Chen is a PhD Student in Engineering Education at Purdue University. She received a master's in industrial engineering, with a thesis in public health, and a double bachelor’s degree in industrial management and supply chain management. She had research experience in human factors engineering, human-computer interaction, and public health infrastructure and services. Her current research interest lies in bridging the gap between education and practice, transition from work to school, as well as employability and interdisciplinary skill development.
